JM6-A New Take (2x LPLas, 4x SSRM2, 2x MG, XL300)

    Was just goofing off changing up my mech bits for a laugh just to see what they would be like to play...um...this shouldn't work worth a damn... but well you see the score.
    Very fast with speed tweak, spammable weapons and a devastating light killer. An all around blast to drive. The number of VERY surprised lights I come across when they try to cap is hilarious. Even at full tilt a jenner can rarely get away fast enough to avoid my SSRMs and LPLas before they lose a leg or I pop them. Theres also enough armor and firepower to circle heavies and assaults easily and pick them to pieces using the great speed and torso twist range. Ammo doesn't seem like a lot for the SSRMs but its more than sufficient. I had loads left over after the game I posted.

    This was the second match in this build. If you can think of a better name for it let me know.

    Very nice load-out. I ran similar for a while with LL and SRM4s, but, with the current state of Streaks, this combo of weaponry looks terrifying! Well played, sir!

    I might try to squeeze in an extra ton of SSRM ammo, but, that would likely cost a heat sink... How is 2T of ammunition working for you so far?

    Haven't even gotten to 25% on most maps. On the 900dmg game I still had a dozen or so left enough for 1.5 volleys. I wouldn't think that the extra 100 would be used much.


    BTW--This is my LRM heavy hence the artemis. Obviously it isn't needed with this build.

    I also use target acquisition and target decay on this since they were already on my LRM build.

    This looks like a lot of fun and I will try the build when I get off work this evening, I have been using LPLas more frequently as of late and really enjoying the damage output they provide. It may be worthwhile to drop a DHS and add in a BAP to deal with pesky ECM lights.

    I've been running this build for a few weeks now, ever since I had to replace ER-PPCs and Gauss on my Jagers. It's a nice brawler, should have posted the build earlier ;)

    I have been using this load-out with a minor tweak: dropped the LPLAS LLAS but that's about it. Very hard hitting and what can I do I say when I see a light run into me?

    I love this build!

    If I had enough money I would go for the slightly larger engine to round out the tonnage, but it plays really well. Extremely versatile. Fast enough to dance around assaults, heavy hitting enough to rack up good damage, SSRMs handle faster mechs well too.

    I will say that I can occasionally rack up higher damage and kills with either the 2xGauss or 2xAC20 Jaeger builds, but my average for this build tends to be a bit better.

    I do think BAP is needed for a streak build, so take out one DHS and add BAP please.
    Oh I skim off some armor for an extra ton of streaks.
