  1. TheWatchman

    TheWatchman Dispossessed

Another speedy Jagermech build, with a stronger focus on close combat, though the dual AC5s can project out to a fair distance.

    Alternate Build A:

Designed along similar lines, but more of a fast, mobile Sniper platform.

You need BAP much more than AMS for streaks.

This build looks promising, i will test it, but maybe with STD Engine:

My JM6-A was gathering a bit of dust in my mechbay so I ran your build for a different style a couple of games last night.
    It's great!
I clocked 800dmg first one and 600dmg second! Will keep this one me thinks.

I slowed it down a bit for more rounds but much the same as above. 5 stars

Using the typical XL300. No AMS since this is ok fast. Gave it a spin, and it is fun.

I'm trying almost the same build but with a little more ammo. The only thing I may change is using AMS tonnage towards a heatsink & leg armor. It's as lethal as my Firebrand, except better with fast mechs. FYI My full loadout also has armor adjusted, at least for my playstyle, for a JM6's side/center/front/rear torsos to hold up the longest.

What I've been doing is targeting lights with my streaks while I hammer slower targets with the autocannons. Hitting 2 targets at once for ~6dps each is pretty wild!

I have been playing the same build you posted. I really like it. The AC5s give it some nice range early, then it excels as a brawler, I tend the run the streaks on a chainfire so I'm continually rattling whatever I'm brawling with along with the AC5s shaking them. And it feels really durable with the standard engine, I don't know if its the torso profile, but it feels like it survives brawls better than my Standard Engine Cataphract that has more armor. And I love how effective it is against lights. I originally thought that this would be the chassis I sold, but this build has made it a keeper for me.

Like Bashida, I've been using the "Blagg Watchman" for a long time as my Jagermech A. When it came out it was the only heavy that could use quad streaks with ballistics (the Catapult C4 has two energy points in the CT) so I quickly put 2 & 2 together and ran with it.

Prior to the switch to 12v12 I scored my only 7 kill match (ever) when using this loadout. Very effective.

This is my usual take on the streak Jagger. You don't use all your hard points, but you don't really need to.

I run something quite similar and it has to be my favorite combination of missiles, lasers and ballistics on any mech. I even use a version of this on my D-DC at times lol

@Vaeden your armor is too low, and the side torso armor is distributed way too far to the back (if you compare hitbox sizes).

Personally, while I think the speed of the XL300 is great, I think the OP sacrifices too much ammo and vaeden sacrifices BAP+too much armor.

This would be a better idea:
