Jester "Glowing Cat" (2x LLas, 4x MLas, 2x AMS, 2x JJ, XL350)

This is one of my favorite builds and overall one of my favorite mechs. The speed, jets and firepower are awesome. I generally only take 1 ton of AMS, though I've swapped a MLas for TAG on occasion if I know I have LRM fire support behind me.

Great build, much easier to manage than the Standard, PPC or ER-PPC builds.

 

Fantastic Weaponloadout! A very easy to use build. Simply get in Range, Alphastrike and then get the Hell out of there for cooling down. Powerful agile Skirmish-Striker with high cooling rate. And the best: Can load an XL350 for Speed at almost 100kph. I think i might get this Joker on %Sale only for this build.

I loved this mech the second I saw it on the client splash screen, didn't particularly care what it was, had to have it *grin* That whole Cheshire Cat look just amuses me to no end.

I've been using the 2ERLL version of the build from the start and it's been a ton of fun, much more so now that it's most of the way to Mastered. I play more aggressively than I probably should once the battle goes from long-range sniping to a furball but as long as I keep moving and twisting this baby survives remarkably well. Sure it's not a crazy high alpha as far as damage goes but it's no slouch and if you can stay on target while recklessly charging to break a line it's visually intimdating as hell! (and a great way to die if your team decides not to capitalize on the distraction)

It's even fast enough to make a lot of light harassers regret their decisions, just track them and chainfire your whole arsenal at their legs... good times *grin*

Does seem to attract missiles though, don't think I've ever made it through a round with AMS ammo left!

 

Finally got the Jester on the Easter sale. I run the ER version and it's a decent ride. Elited it out today and I'll slowly work on mastering it.

It suffers from what all the Cats do, being as big as an assault mech.

For me it'll be one that I'll break out often for a few matches then on to something else.

Glad I got it so my Cat collection is complete.
