Someone apparently pulled the quirk list off the test server. I don't know how accurate this is but it at least makes interesting reading. IS Quirk List
Original link to google doc is easy enough. Of course we'd like to have the quirks on mechspecs, but we'll add those when implemented in the live game to their respective mech parent folders.
Noooooooooooooo................................................... My JM6's..... my precious..... what did you do PGI. On the other hand.... Ok I was going to comment on a few entries but you deleted the really useful bits in the post above and most of us using work computers are blocked from crappy google docs.... thanks. Sadly for you I did copy off the Dragon 1C and Thunderbolt TDR-9S and will just ponder on the posibilities. Dragon DRG-1C 60 4 Torso Yaw Speed 10% Dragon DRG-1C 60 4 Additional Structure (CT) 24 Dragon DRG-1C 60 4 Additional Structure (RA) 6 Dragon DRG-1C 60 4 ER Large Laser Duration -10.0% Dragon DRG-1C 60 4 Laser Duration -10.0% Dragon DRG-1C 60 4 ER Large Laser Cooldown 10.0% Dragon DRG-1C 60 4 Energy Cooldown 10.0% Dragon DRG-1C 60 4 ER Large Laser Heat Gen -10.0% Dragon DRG-1C 60 4 Energy Heat Gen -10.0% Dragon DRG-1C 60 4 Gauss Rifle Cooldown 10.0% Dragon DRG-1C 60 4 Ballistic Cooldown 10.0% Thunderbolt TDR-9S 65 5 Additional Structure (LT&RT) 10 Thunderbolt TDR-9S 65 5 PPC Heat Gen -12.5% Thunderbolt TDR-9S 65 5 Energy Heat Gen -12.5% Thunderbolt TDR-9S 65 5 PPC Cooldown 12.5% Thunderbolt TDR-9S 65 5 Energy Cooldown 12.5% Thunderbolt TDR-9S 65 5 Energy Range 15% Thunderbolt TDR-9S 65 5 Laser Duration -15% Thunderbolt TDR-9S 65 5 Missile Range 15% DRG-1C: -20% Gauss cooldown and -20% ERLL Duration/Cooldown/Heat Gen. well if you don't USE a specific quirk you still have a better mech than before.. I don't understand why one would have to use only the weapon system that got quirks on them. I have created a few "new meta" Commando builds but i'll post them here with plain links to save space. Note that they become pretty slow when you squeeze all the quirk'd weapons in them. But i guess XL195 is okay.... New meta COM-1D (1xSRM6, 2x MPlas) http://mwo.smurfy-net.de/mechlab#i=27&l=ce20898f5ad86b131dcc6ca7ed61a08d6a1bb669 New meta COM-3A (2x SRM6) http://mwo.smurfy-net.de/mechlab#i=6&l=8c4cb7dadbf538494638d901ebd7d4d51066d50f New meta COM-3A (1x SMR6, 1xSRM4, 1MLas) http://mwo.smurfy-net.de/mechlab#i=6&l=6b72c3626c060dbd19447f973695e0fe074c711b 2D would be the solid snake basically
Yeah, I know, that's one of the reasons I tried to do spoilers but it took up three entires posts so, not effective. I got it in a separate doc, might post a image instead. There is just no easy way to get 970+ rows of data into a forum.
Lol I know.... but what am I do do while stuck at work and ahead on the monthly stats... with no new stats or builds to crunch? *stiff upper lip quivers* What were the SHD-5K quirks and are there any chassis that can still run 2 AC 20's bonused?
jagers and blackjacks are god awful quirks for most of them. Will probably just leave mine as is currently - there is a fine line in running the most optimized builds with these arbitrary quirks and running builds that look like shit even if they are buffed. Also, I'm not sure what the obsession PGI has with srm4's but almost all the missile quirks are specifically for 4's. Very few builds take srm4's over srm6's...
damn in the end for dual ac20 jager S will be the best and that's what I sold, at least DD is the best for the chainsaw build that is my 2nd fav. I guess DD quirks are still decents for the BoomJager, but it will bother me that I don't get all the quirks...maybe I'll have to get the S back if there's a sale.
Actually I often use 4's as a 6+Artemis is a much more significant weight/size expenditure and generates quite a bit more heat as a secondary weapon. It mainly depends if I intend the SRM's to be the primary or secondary weapon really. For example my AS7-S and CN9-AH will be unchanged as the SRM 4's and their bonuses nicely mesh as support weapons.
just to be sure, but If we get this: Commando COM-3A 25 5 SRM6 Cooldown 10% Commando COM-3A 25 5 Missile Cooldown 10% That does mean that I get 20% better cooldown if I use SRm6, right?
Quickdraws are getting a fair bit of love too. The 4G got lots being a tier 5. The 5K is considered a tier 3 and it still got a good helping of PPC and Energy improvements. Oh man, the Thunderbolts are getting some pretty nifty Tier 5 bonuses, especially the TDR-5SS. Is this possibly a typo? TDR-5SS: +15% Cooldown, -25% Heat Generation, and +50% Range for Medium Pulse Lasers. This will give Medium pulses a longer range than Medium Lasers. Throw in a range and cooldown module, and the 7xMPL build is just going to wreck.
