It's alphabetically sorted and otherwise you always have ctrl+F :D

    All considered T3:

    Jagermech JM6-A Additional Structure (LT&RT) 7
    Jagermech JM6-A AC/2 Cooldown 7.5%
    Jagermech JM6-A Ballistic Cooldown 7.5%
    Jagermech JM6-A LRM15 Cooldown 7.5%
    Jagermech JM6-A Missile Cooldown 7.5%
Jagermech JM6-A Missile Heat Gen -10%

    Jagermech JM6-DD Additional Structure (LT&RT) 7
    Jagermech JM6-DD Ultra AC/5 Range 7.5%
    Jagermech JM6-DD Ballistic Range 7.5%
    Jagermech JM6-DD Ultra AC/5 Cooldown 7.5%
    Jagermech JM6-DD Ballistic Cooldown 7.5%
Jagermech JM6-DD Energy Heat Gen -10%

    Jagermech JM6-S Additional Structure (LT&RT) 7
    Jagermech JM6-S AC/2 Cooldown 7.5%
    Jagermech JM6-S Ballistic Cooldown 7.5%
    Jagermech JM6-S AC/5 Velocity 7.5%
    Jagermech JM6-S Ballistic Velocity 7.5%
    Jagermech JM6-S Ballistic Range 10%

Honesty, Only the A sucks. JM6-S ballistic boating 2xAC5+2xAC2 is fun, JM6-DD I prefer to run AC10+MGs, but chainsaw is easy on that mech.

    Jagermech Firebrand Additional Structure (LT&RT)
Jagermech Firebrand PPC Heat Gen -7.5%
Jagermech Firebrand Energy Heat Gen -7.5%
    Jagermech Firebrand Energy Cooldown 10%
Jagermech Firebrand 2 Ballistic Velocity 10%

And this is the FB, 2PPC builds with either AC10 or 2x AC5s are interesting.

    Or even 4 PPCs :D

Yey, I'm already running cheapo 2x(PPC+AC5)! Velocity difference will be even larger now though, might have to try out solahma's horribly slow 2x(PPC+AC10) :D

    True enough.

We are voting for the build, not for the post, and a very good build can be posted in the most expeditious fashion.
Actually, this is mainly a problem for good builds, because who really cares about a 1 star build not being properly introduced? But a meta-build with a lazy OP? That's not serious.
One way to handle this could be to be able to "claim the OP" of an highly rated build with poor and/or outdated first post, by creating a new thread (with the approval of the mod team of course) that will properly describe the build and its playstyle, summarize the discussion for the previous thread (with link to the archived thread), present the different possible approaches of this build and the different variants resulting, give link to external resources, etc... in a way a "mini-guide" to the build.

Yeah the buff being on the PPC velocity too would be better, but it will still go up to 950 m/s at least.

Finally with this sale I got the Firebrand and the much needed XL280, I knew it would eventually came on sale so I can run the OXIDE SRM4 and the 5K with almost max speed too (I'd still prefer an XL285 for those but oh well) !

I'm a bit disappointed from the 5K tho, I would prefer much more focus on the MGs instead of the single ERLLAS, that is just there to poke but it's not the best feature of the mech, still they focused on that.

There IS a way that this can be done with XenForo actually. There is a plugin that allows admins/mods to re-assign the post author to someone else. I'm pretty sure I saw this during my initial digging. Of course this would have to be restricted to Admin. I'm currently looking in to finishing off development with the Ratings Engine author and then have recoloring the existing theme and THEN might have some bandwidth for that.

And this post demonstrates the nefarious genius behind their quirk system. ;)

I will rejoice upon the day that PGI learns moderation.

They're adding quirk bonuses like 16 year olds that are just allowed to drink add beers to their stomach.

They're adding quirks the same way they buff and nerf weapons I'm afraid.

Top 5-star SCR Build in Mechspecs forums:

    Max DPS: 15.59
    Sustained: 4.99
    Firepower: 64
Most effective fighting ranges: 270, 400 meters.

Build that is getting quirk bonus for HBK-4G:

Stats: Before quirks ---> After quirks (estimated)

    Max DPS: 8.75 ---> 10.42
Sustained 3.85 ----> Actually, don't know a quick and dirty way to do this one right now. Maybe up? Maybe down? the AC20 is going to be hotter.

    Firepower: 35 -----> 35
Most effective fighting ranges: 310.5, 337.5

Hmm. HMMMM. It's possible to make the argument that these world-ending buffs aren't enough.

Even if he's totally from ulterior motive land, one of the core design strategies for successful MMOs if "fail faster," a corollary of which is sometimes "fail harder." To find the middle ground, sometimes you have to overshoot it with a range-finding shot to get the depth of the field into perspective...that's really how I look at this coming patch. It's not MEANT to be final, it's meant to be testing soup. Let the players beat the snot out of each other, get the data, find what scale quirks need to be at. And I can't just say "oh, they should do X% of current quirks and things will be fine" or even suggest specific weapon changes. It's going to take a week or two of ZOMGN00B rage-quits from a lot of folks to get that data.

So, to get in the spirit of things, I will be trolling enemy face all over the place to get that data, and getting punked while doing so. No established meta, no kid gloves, just pure unadulterated face-smashing in the new sandbox. In a way, it will be glorious...but it will also be frustrating. I may think it's necessary to get it right, but I'm not going to sugar coat it and if PGI doesn't show they're willing to iterate quickly and well, a lot of player faith returned with recent events will be lost. The ball is in all our courts. Go forth and get dunked!
