tested it, and it works ok. it is a bit slow, but it works. I think you can just download the macro from the link.
I tested it as well... It was actually faster and easier to use my thumb mouse button to zoom. Until MWO incorporates the wheel for zoom in and out I will stick with that, or get another mouse with more buttons.
