Because some mechs don't always work on paper, especially crazy builds like this. It's nice to see that a build can actually work in-game and who has the skill to do so.
I like the triple gauss ilya. I run it with the xl225 and find it to be fast enough and beefy enough to succeed if you keep your situational awareness as priority #1. While it would be nice to have 100 ammo making sure your shots hit will probably end the match before you can use all of that. I think what he's saying is that a screenshot offers no more useful info than just saying the build works for you. If you are doing your job correctly then your damage won't necessarily be that high, and you can get x assists, kills, or damage in just about any mech in the right match.

Maybe I'll record some games for nostalgia as this build gets archived. I wonder how this new system will work if you split the Gauss rifles into two weapon groups. I'm sure the intent is for only 2 to charge still, but I wonder if that system will be buggy. For example: someone uses a macro to fire 2 weapon groups at the same time. How will the game know which to shoot? Guess we'll find out.
Can we petition for a return of triple IS gauss? I need two more cataphracts, and I would buy the Ilya Muromets if it could run this loadout. =(
Right, it wasn't that OP anyways, sooooo much glass cannon. I want to see this thing back though! IS Gauss should be able to fire 3. Not Clan. Lets start a poll or something.
