Since I'm at work, I can't play immediately upon patch completion. I'm relying on you guys to tell me how easy ballistics/PPCs are to use now.
I'm at work as well so won't be able to see how it all plays out until after 1800 Eastern I also have a ton of catching up to do on these forums LOL
Ballistics are excellent, not that my 17 ping ever had any issues:tongue:. Gauss round velocity has had an increase or I'm just seeing it the way it was intended. I have had all of my graphics issues fixed as far as I can tell after a couple of matches. I'm a little less angry with PGIGP today. Mythweaver
More distactions to keep me from my studies... hnnnnngh! I haven't had trouble very often hitting lights with my AC/20 before but I guess this'll only improve the hit rate Too bad I can't play until thursday without a guilty conscience and regret on the exam.
I haven't noticed a difference with my Gauss Rifle, but I usually have around 30 ping, so I doubt it was ever much of an issue for me.
Maybe I'm wrong or it's because the game is running better overall for me; the rounds appear to be moving faster. I will say that all of my texture bugs and that Colored polygon bug are all gone...I'm so Happy! Myth.
The thing that bugged me about every weapon but lasers is that there are times when I shoot at targets that are either stationary, or moving directly to or away from me, and the shot goes right through them. Any of that still happening?
I've never gotten the colored polygon bug, but I'm getting way more missing texture bugs with the new patch. Drivers are completely updated and everything... This patch hates me.
I get this sometimes too, especially on Frozen City. Buildings look grey a LOT of the time. Clear your shaders directory. That seems to help DRIVE:\Games\Piranha Games\MechWarrior Online\USER\Shaders\Cache Delete everything in that folder (Cache folder) and it will remake it each time you play.

Yup. Considering Boston, and the fact that my wife is training to be in a race next month, complaining about pretend buildings being the wrong color seems a little silly.
well the good news about the patch makes me happy, cant wait to get home and give it a try ive noticed that I sometimes have to reinstall the game after a major patch if you continue to have issues with textures try uninstalling and reinstalling, it helps me with similar issues after patches 9/10 times
Took out my AC20 Hunchie 4H last night to see if the ballistics changed much for us low ping. Bumped into a K2 at Theta on Forest Colony. Took the shot, hit the head. The next 3 odd seconds of this pilots match could be summed up in 3 words "zoom, zoom, BOOM". Add a K2 barely scratched with a greasy hole for a cockpit to salvage. Was beautiful and what was my first response? Go figure I didn't have fraps running lol.
