Set a group up specifically for your chain fire group (for my K2 it's group #2 which is my right mouse button) then go and press the BACKSPACE key when Group 2 is highlighted. It is now set to Chain Fire (it will show this by having the selected weapons cycle with a little black background). Then just single click your chainfire group button and viola! Easy peasy!
Thank you very much. Tried it with my Stormscour Hunchback and I gutted a Spider and Jenner easy with that one. Very nice, considering that alpha-ing a light mech is always a risky proposition.
