So, a couple of friends and I were running a 3 man of Assaults last night --- I was in a Dire, with 5x UAC5s and 3x ERMLs, and we dropped on Frozen City. The match got going REALLY quickly, as the enemy team pushed at us right as we pushed toward them; it was a hot fight for a bit, lots of big targets to shoot at with my UACs, and due to the low heat of the match, I was able to keep firing fairly non-stop. But most of our team hung back like cowards, so the three of us died fairly quickly, and in the end so did the rest of our team. Anyway, what was so surprising about this match was how much damage my Dire put out in the short time I survived . . . in 2 minutes and 21 seconds to be precise: Here's the actual end result of the match:
Nice This is the first thing that popped into my head when I saw the time vs damage (ridiculous anime moment...watch until about 1:55, just to see the best part ) That awesome feeling when you feel like your DWF could pick up someone just to beat someone else to death with their corpse...
Just imagine when you'll be able to jump on a building and then see everyone on Frozen City! UAC Turret activated.
Taking into account that it would take around 40 seconds to engage, let's say 41 to ease the numbers, it leaves 100 seconds of pure firing time. So 10,5 DPS, should be ok as probably some of the UAC's have jammed once or twice during that time decreasing the DPS.
@Remarius --- Yes, double tapping almost always, except when it starts to run hot; then I simply hold the key down, ignoring the UAC effect.
