How do you think the Clan Invasion will be implemented?

    And you shouldn't cause you would get curb stomped for trying to fight one on one with clanners... but thats why I saying Clanners should be forced to or suffer hefty penalties for acting like IS dezgra scum... a simple binary switch in the programming of if you are firing at a legal target or not... and you can only have one legal target at a time, so Clanners & IS have a slightly different target system with the clanners targeting reaching out further, acquiring data faster, and keeping lock longer... with a separate Trial of Position mechanic against a very good AI that has to be defeated before you can drop again if you dont act like a Clanner...

    I agree that very very few would stay true for solely RP reasons... that's why it should be part of the actual game mechanic... none of which will be done... the Clan will be introduced poorly at best & completely invalidate any reason we are playing in 3050... I wish it was just set at 3067 and we fought the WoB wackjobs!!! Which would still technically be fighting the "Clan" since the Manei are Clan Wolverine....

    the name of the honor code used by Clansmen... 1 on 1 duels, no concentrated fire, only attacking one mech until its defeated.... essentially it's a huge handicap in the way they fight so the IS could defend and then defeat them with inferior technology and great numbers... fairly similar to how the allies won WWII....

    Makes me wonder what kind of brain, maybe the kind Igor dragged in for his master ? The reason everyone is using the same build should be obvious as daylight: Because you can't choose the map, or your setup for the map. Will it be large? Will it be small ? Will it be hot? Or cold ?
    Right now, you have to use a build that caters towards all posibilities, and that means long range weapons. And as it happens, size means range, as far as this game is concerned. There are no ER Medium Lasers in this game yet.

    Makes me wonder which game you were playing. But since you were obviously just trying to troll me, let's keep it at that:
    If you expect an answer, keep your "ohnoes!!" and other assumptions on why I have an opinion to yourself - if you're interested just ask, otherwise shove off and play.
    There are more than enough alternatives out there to play. It hasn't to be "walking tanks that shoot cotton balls".
