So while I loved the 4 Large Laser idea, it was truthfully pointed out losing one torso makes you useless. So I counter with this. You down grade two of the Large Lasers into Mediums. This gives you two bonuses. 1) You can alpha all 4 lasers together now with out any heat penalty 2) The weight saved is put into 3 SRM4 launchers with 3 tons of ammo after lower leg armor a little bit. In testing this machine runs MUCH cooler unless you get all crazy with the SRMs. I suggest mainly using the Lasers then using the SRMs as a knock out punch.

I guess if it had all 3 JJ and an AMS it would be better, but you still have a low armor value(nearly 60 points under max). so, 3-5 stars.
Yeah. I tried that one. I didn't like it for practical use. It is to hot in normal use to even come close to using all the weapons. Which made it seem kind of silly to spend 16 tons on weapons and ammo as a back up in case you lose your primary weapon side. It would give you a decent knock out punch, but isn't able to sustain it long enough to be effective in a brawl. Once you combine that with the 'normal' assault speed you are essentially a cooked duck. So you can either try to run it cooler so you can sustain the brawl long enough to kill your enemy. Or, you can try to get faster so you aren't forced to finish what you start or find yourself stuck in. I agree with the points enough on the just 4 large lasers that I'm willing to give this a go, I just think this to be a better solution than the one you linked.
