You must be wondering why the LRMs are in the arms, I put them there just in case you lose that arm. So if you lose that arm you'd still have the SRMs and MLs to defend yourself. There is a good amount of ammo in it to hopefully last it for some time.

I probably wouldn't do that, personally. The arm launcher is 6-tube, which means your LRMs are going to come out much slower and be more avoidable.

XL Engine is also really pretty bad on assaults, because it lowers the amount of brawling you can safely do - it's easy to focus the side torso and pop you while you still have half your weapons. And if you do go XL Engine, definitely don't store ammo there so that ammo explosions can't pop your engine.

And you have no jump jets - even 1 gives you a huge boost in turn speed and maneuverability to keep those SRMs on target.

    Overall, I'd do this instead:

What you lose: a tiny bit of armor on your legs. No one legs an assault. 1 ton of SRM ammo (you'd never go through that much). A bit of heat efficiency. AMS - no one uses LRMs, no real point having AMS.

What you gain: survivability if your side torsos get popped. LRMs that actually fire at the rate they're meant to. A jump jet for turning and a bit of damage avoidance.

I read some heavy/assault builds and saw how much armour they take off just for more stuff. People (like Mythweaver) said they almost always aim for the legs because thats where most people put their ammo, so I try to max the areas where I have the explosive (or primary) ammo. Maybe I'll swap a LRM and SRM's positions.
