    I'm sure people out there dabble with different variations. Check out these breakdowns for alpha strikes.

    These all include the Elite efficiencies unlocked.

    9 ML - Total heat 49.66, Ghost Heat 13.66, 45 Dmg
    8 ML - Total heat 39.60, Ghost Heat 7.60, 40 Dmg

    Forest Colony
    8 ML, 19 DHS - 9.2 second cooldown time
    8 ML, 18 DHS - 10 second cooldown time
    8 ML, 17 DHS - 11 second cooldown time
    9 ML, 19 DHS - 12 second cooldown time
    9 ML, 18 DHS - 13 second cooldown time
    9 ML, 17 DHS - 13 second cooldown time

    Alpine Peakes
    8 ML, 19 DHS - 7.4 second cooldown time
    8 ML, 18 DHS - 7.8 second cooldown time
    8 ML, 17 DHS - 8.2 second cooldown time
    9 ML, 19 DHS - 9.2 second cooldown time

    EDIT: I think what can be tooken away from this is, you can trade 3 seconds of cooldown for 5 extra alpha strike damage. If you specialize in hit and run, I think the 5 damage is worth it. And also, paying 1 second of cooldown for the BAP info gathering boost + the module info gather boost is worth it.

    Sure it's not pinpoint like an 2xAC20, but if you miss you can course correct your shot and at least score some damage. A well aimed shot will score you more damage than 2xAC20. And in HPG manifold your opponent may not even understand what just hit them until its too late.

    In the current era of LRMs, don't underestimate the value of a good AMS. This works particularly well as this mech makes an excellent escort mech, so you can help keep your fatties alive while providing fire support. Plus, for how battles typically go with this mech you can afford to lose a DHS as you actually get a 10% reduction in heat. Do note, however, that if you find yourself in a magical spot where nobody is shooting at you and you can just crank on the sustained fire, this mech actually runs hotter now.

    Accept no substitutes. This is the way to run this mech. If you seem small lasers or pulses on this you're doing it wrong!

    This is my go to build for the 4p 9 lasers firing in groups of 4, 3 and then the 2 on the arms. the left side makes a great shield if need be as well.

    You'd post it to if you keep getting 600+ dmg games also that post is 2 years old anyway
