Ain't this some shi&*(! Slightly stacked teams there and complete BS lol. As you can imagine we got run over. All six of their Atlas' just went right up the middle slaughtering everything in their path lol Literally half their team was an Atlas
ya this happens man, but not for long. Soon there are going to be weight limits, and thank god for that.
Yeah, it happens about once every 30 games or so I think. That's a guesstimate but still, roughly. I can't agree more with Leo, weight limits can't come quick enough. Steiner scouts will have to cry some though.
It can suck, for sure. But also note you had 6 assaults to their 6 assaults. Right now it just tries to balance off of class, not weight.
Honestly? I've seen it a couple of times. I've been in a pug match and all of a sudden I get ROFLSTOMPED by 6+ Atlas/Highlander/Stalker combos. Not often but it has happened.
Ask Lan, Vergere and Verbosity about our drop VS ACES last night... I believe they had one light, one medium and then all heavies and Assaults. Caustic Valley? More like Caustic Graveyard!
Yeah, we got stomped alright. I think Vergere died first at Theta to a oncoming, massive, firing line that dissected him so fast it was over in less then ten seconds. I died about 60-90 seconds after that to the same wave as it crested the line. Eeesh, lucky it doesn't happen that often.
Yeah. I watched one Kintaro crest the peak and gave chase... only to realize he had five 70T+ friends come over the ridge a few seconds later. Ow.
Looking forward to tonnage limits. Matches tend to be heavy at the moment, but that's more FotM than anything, I think. Remember a few months back when every match was full of lights? Honestly since the guass/PPC balancing, I've noticed drop tonnages lightening up (more proof that it was overused). Still, though, tonnage limits are needed, I think. And (maybe) tonnage/slot restrictions per hardpoint. That 7v12 SS is rediculous though. I've never had one that bad. 10v12 I think is as bad as i've seen it.
I'm kinda curious if it will turn into the same queue style as other MMOs. EG; in WoW, a healer can instantly queue for a Raid and a Tank will wait up to an hour. Whereas a Tank can queue instantly for a Dungeon while a healer may wait fifteen minutes... I'm wondering if it will be the same for say Mediums and Assaults. Everyone wants to drop with 80-100T so they wait, but, 40-50T drop quick...
This is an interesting point. I'm not sure how the tonnage restrictions/limits will work (or if they'll even exist in public queues) but if they do, this is going to be the likely scenario. No problem for me, I love my mediums =D Also, might help curb the sheer number of noobs driving assault mechs so poorly.
