The best "grinding strategy" for "Noobs" is to play the game with an eye towards having fun and getting better. It will do them no good to use such suicide strategies if they don't know how to properly pilot their dream mech.

Play the game. Ask questions. Get better. The c-bills will come.

Bilbo is correct Bob. It really depends on what the "New Player" (Noob is kinda derogatory, but whateves) finds fun. If they want to get up in to the latest Atlas and kit 'n fit it then they have some work ahead of them. If they like taking baby steps and grinding their way through the weight classes to get the money and learn how to play then that works too.

It isn't just about finding the fastest way to get money. That really will kill your stats and ruin the current end game since a lot of the game is still considered "in development".

All in its time, hardships are good in all games. Makes you a better player ^^

Thanks for sharing Bob, I shall run the natural course of things.

Most of us already have a plan hehe.

What bilbo said, with some caveats. If you are going to play with an eye towards money-making, remember these points.

0 - Don't buy a 'mech specifically to make money, tweak a config to make it more economical.
1 - Energy weapons require no ammo.
2 - Upgraded equipment (Ferro, Endo, DHS, XL Engine) all cost more to repair.
3 - If you are going to use ammo, protect your investment with C.A.S.E.
4 - The lighter the 'mech, the less armor and structure, the lower the sting for getting killed.
5 - Weapons cost money, make sure that you know what is wrong with your build (or tactics) before you start ripping stuff out.

    Use a trial 'mech.

However, as everyone else mentioned. Play what you want, ask questions, learn.

If you don't know how to do something, ask. Getting killed is much more expensive than typing a sentence into the chat.

Play the game to have fun first and foremost. That's worth more than all the fancy equipment grinding can bring.
