I squeezed in the xl300 and got this but same idea (thanks!) I do hate me some streaks, but that is the way this mech is meant to be played so who am I to argue?
What good is a shield arm that only takes an 2-3 AC20 shots? why not 3-4? I kinda like it, but the low armor kinda makes me cautions; and I don't do cautious.
Well, you're chasing lights or running behind the poptarts, so hopefully you're not taking too many shots I am probably going to tweak the front/rear armor distributions till I find what works best, but I'm not worried about the left arm - the people we're playing against aren't aiming for it anyway and will hold their shot.
Was what I immediately built when this was released - same as the Shadowhawk and Kintaro builds. It works well Glad to see I'm not the only one thinking like this!
This makes a good grinding build. It was fun, but its already been done on several mechs. 4/5 for useability, 2/5 for fun.
upgrading XL 255>280>300 takes 1.5 tons per step. you can simply trade 3 JJs instead of 2 and .5 tons of armor for an XL300 variant. The speed (this being a light hunter) seems worth the loss of a bit of jumping power. Knowing how much tons it takes to upgrade (or what you get from a downgrade) is handy if you want to optimize builds.
Here's some results - also notice some of my team members - so had some decent players (although I was not on TS with them) http://i.imgur.com/CyGZS0M.jpg[/img] http://i.imgur.com/1hA7c54.jpg[/img]
Why so jumpy? You only need 4 JJ's IMO, 7 is way too many and way more than this chassis requires. It's nice for trolly, but I would prefer the extra ton of ammo and armor. I think this is more optimized than the original, even if it is just me who is of that opinion
