Clan Mechs+Techs are too overpowered How? There's actually only two mechs and one weapon overpowered, TBR and DWF along with the clan LRMs. According to my (of course subjective) feeling, they are the most common clanners that are seen on the battlefield, because players by now learned how to use them effectively ... to a great extend. Regardless how I like the fact, that those players spent money to a game I think we all like to play for a while or see develop to CW - at some time, but I admit right now I'm highly unnerved from getting shot by a 60 pinpoint DWF alpha from afar or lrms from a second line TBR using the team as to get locks (and meatshield). Of course both are valid tactics, as the game currently allows it, but that doesn't mean I have to like it. However, I do appreciate some content was released at all, although the mixed IS/Clan companies just don't feel right. So long!
In fairness to the numbers, you'll see more DWF than WHK atm since it's a much cheaper package, and you'll see a lot of TBRs just because they are THE iconic mech of the BT universe. Everyone wants a Mad Cat. That said, now that I (and a number of others) have been unlocking efficiencies for our clan mechs, I'm curious to see another stat layout...maybe I'll start taking screenshots of games for a while and try to make another average layout, see if the one from page 2 is still more or less accurate. It would be good to know, at least, if I'm OP
cERPPC, cGauss and cSRMs are the problem, they're the only weapons that don't have a drawback of some sort on the clans. The rest can be dealt with.
Can't decide whether bart2o is trying to imply they're not a problem by giving absurd figures or just forgetting we can all see the figures in game if we have clan mechs or..... :unsure:
