The No Nonsense Build is built on the "K.I.S.S. Principle" [glow=red,2,300]Keep It Simple, Stupid[/glow] and that I did, easy to run and stays pretty cool. Group1 - 2x UAC/5 Group2 - 2x ERLLaser See? easy peezy lemon squeezy
Just got the Firebrand today because it's on sale and used your build right off the bat. I typically subscribe to the same school of thought regarding simplicity. I don't have the multitasking/coordination to efficiently handle more than 3 different weapon groups in the heat of battle. Simple is good. And as it turns out, this load out is genuinely effectuve as well. All weapons at eye level, on the arms, not too hot, a decent amount of ammo, and good reach with all weapons. So far I'm 5 kills, zero deaths with this.
I'm glad you're enjoying the build ! I'm the same way about weapon groups which is why I usually follow Grimm's builds they are usually simple and effective as well. With this I started with his Rifle Jager then simplified it to this and ended up getting 2 kills, 4 assists and did about 600 dmg in my first match. This averages more like 300-400 dmg per match. This build is all about the assists and being a team player but still has plenty of punch if you need to really beat on someone. Also, I use 3 modules adv sensor range , target info and advanced zoom
Hi ! Here's a test using ballistic and laser on my firebrand's arm, and it s very great one. The name come with a joke in french, litteraly no arm no nutella, cause if you loose both arm you're screwed. Simple and effective, just hot enought to be proud of the firebrand name Large laser and UAC5 can kill fast, you can use the beam time to fire several ammo, but avoid to be exposed too long, nothing good will happend if you do that sort of thing. Please give me you re feedback !
I had posted the same build, without seeing your's ... Great build but i prefere it with large laser as in the original post seems to been.
This post is just the proof of the "nonsens build"'s quality ... and by the way of my blindness. Please delete it ^^
Nowadays regular LLas (including range module obv.) might be better on this one for - shorter beam duration and - less heat.
Just because no one expects a Jager to be running a standard engine, dropped down to a STD 220, increased the leg armour, added a heat sink and did away with AMS.
It can still out-run a Dire Wolf, so it does have a purpose on the field. I like the idea of STD engine builds in the Jager given their symmetrical load-outs. And like you said, no one really expects a STD engine in a Jager anymore simply due to the amount of firepower you can shove into it.
... and more Bullets to shoot away! and if you usually don`t need the extra Ammo you can always drop some of them to run the STD250! BAAAMM!!!
