Firebrand Doom Boom (2x LBX10, 6x MLas, AMS, XL280)

Registered just to rate on this. This build is a BEAST! It melts face at close range. Had 6 kills and 2 assists in the previous game.

 

I played Jagers like an idiot, shitloads of setups, tried so many of them. This is one is so much fun to play and a well rounded loadout for reactive play, ambushes and going berserk if you're bored of your team.

I tried to play about 50 games in this and compared it to the dual AC20 which is a beast too, perfect for griefing (an ac20 jager round the corner makes everyone sigh) but absolutely boring to play.

Get this one. It's fun in teams of four and solo as well and works on every map.

Using the loadouts with some more spare ammo you can do longrange "tags" for kill assists (nice $$$ with hero bonus) and switching the lasers to chainfire for a continous stream of disco light and awesome suppression fire at chokepoints (an underestimated tactic, especially in therma, frozen and river city)

 

You need more than 45 shots. But yeah it is fun to play.

 

I've run this build on the Cat K before, only shortcomings were the firing arc limitations of the torso mounted ballistics and that it was not very effective at long range. However, once combat has entered the close range phase, particularly later in the game where everyone is banged up to a certain degree, it is utterly brutal, allowing for numerous kills with a low damage output. It would be interesting to see how mixing the standard AC10 and LBX would work.
