With the extra day (and how Vergere and I did tonight), I might actually go for the camo after all. Up to 31 points...and if I get 35+ tonight, I will likely go all out trying to push those last 15 points. I really want that camo, just didn't think I had a shot until now

 

I'm not sure that lucky is the way I'd describe my Sunday...

 

It's for raven only, you can just get the 1 shot if you really love it

 

I don't mind that Fx I love my Ravens.

 

Been using LRMs for the lulz, it's crazy how much this weapon system sucks and yet people want to use it.

 

Got into a winning streak there at the end so it went much faster than i thought (thank you BJ-1X and PGI matchmaker)

Ended up getting at the statue after playing way too much this weekend. Probably would've stopped at the free Raven if I wasn't unlocking basics for my Firestarters...these weekend events are too tedious.

 

I was having a lot of trouble in my Firestarter, and was getting ready to stop until tonight...but then someone convinced me to try another mech before I gave up. And...



Let's just say I went on a winning streak Just got the 50th point. STK OP yo.

Total stats:
111 matches for 50 qualifies
63 wins, 48 losses, no ties.
144 kills, 67 deaths, 531 assists

Not too shabby

 

Team work op I think you'll find as I had losses where I got 5-6 kills.

 

Yes teamwork is OP. 40 points scored from a total of 78 battles total, 54 wins, 24 loss, 89 kills and 39 deaths. Ill see if I can do the last 10 tomorrow but most likely this was the last battle for this event.

Done - 50 qualified games. 78 wins, 44 lost. Bang on target as I predicted, 100-150 games was the guesstimate.



I wasn't planning on going for the skin but as I helped other Swec's reach their mech my number climbed enough to make me want to push a bit more. It was really, really strained at the end though. Lots of panicking players going crazy.

 

We played a 9 match round in the MBO tournament and it felt so much better than that competition.... except the rounds the other side massacred us.

 

66 games, 36 wins, 18 qualifying matches, and that's all I've had time to play because I actually have RL responsibilities that had to be taken care of today. While I may try to fill the gap tomor*cough*THIS morning before going to work...even if my rate jumped to one every other game I'd still need 14 to hit the target. Pretty much not happening. I don't mind stretch goals that require you to have no life, but when the MAIN goal is like this...ugh. The worst part is, I should REALLY already have it, since half of my non-qualifying wins were your protyptical "did most damage and stripped components and kept up fire on orange/red target, can't get the kill" against multiple targets...with the kill taken by someone who had already earned a kill that match or by the enemy overheating themself way, way too often. 9+ assists in a crit-happy mech with no kills from that kind of behavior, just...like, if the other guy still needed their kill, it's fine, but when the guy has 2+ and still grabs it when they and the team are not in danger it's face-stabbing level of "I will punch you over the internet." AND AHMIGERDUGUYZ, enemy overheats. Cannot begin to tell you how freaking frustrating that is in an event like this one. Blahblah"better aim"blahblah"time your shots to steal"blahblahhumbug.

Thankfully, I learned a long time ago that incomplete challenges are nothing to stress about, which is why I'm going to sleep instead of chasing the white rabbit. Er, metal-green raven. You know what I mean.

Also, I have a lot of fun stories to tell from this event, like my first few times taking a 3x LBX-10 Dire Whale into battle and skeet shooting enemy JJ lights. Fun times!

 

Its quid pro quo. We lost several group queue matches because people weren't going for the kills. I literally died a couple of times early on because people were shooting me and I was trying to leave the kill. Changed to run the rule that if someone was shooting me I raped them.

 

Got the statue, a free XL295 I was still missing and back to 100m cbills.

Enough for this event.

 

1 point away from 50. Sofar iv done 700+ damage and now another 900+ damage with no kills.


Edit: Finally done last 10 points took me 23 battles (13 wins) :/
