Literally just had one. Ran around a corner on Mordor, into an Atlas. He ran past me. Then I saw the second Atlas. And the Third Atlas. As I was in a Cataphract, I knew myself to be no more.
Whenever i go hunting squirrels.. Lucky to come out of that alive sometimes... I wonder if we could have smoke grenades as consumables? That would make it even more fun, smoke grenades that act as temporary ECM too (with say metal shavings)
A 4x with two LBs and Two 2s is still pretty formidable. A challenge i would gladly accept in that mech haha.
Was in my Dakkaphract- I tried, but I was rusty. I been running my Awesome lately, and have gotten out of practice with the autocannons.
Was on River City (Skirmish) last night in my Illy Chainsaw build dealing deth despite... we were pushing through the lower city towards the base where the opposing team was.... grouped. I had taken out two of my own already.... hear: love urban fighting, by the way, lots of duck and cover... and we were making good progress... or so I thought anyway. At the base there were 2 Atlas baddies on the wall, deth dealing to anyone that broke cover, and they were just picking our team off while we were dealing with the opposition on the ground. I was pissed because there was some dead guy eating up the chat lines with beration over how we sucked so bad because we were ignoring the Atlas.. :angry:
Challenge accepted! The last 3 kills were just me. Nobody else was left alive and I had to float like a butterfly and sting like a bee to get shit done. I was banged up (Orbit Rain is a damn good pilot in that Jenner with his 2x PPC build) but still managed to lay some pain down! Bring on Godzilla!
Took the far right on Tourmaline (Skirmish) in my Shadowhawk since, y'know.... *nobody* ever goes that way... right? RIIIGHT? Ram smack dab into 3 HGN-733's and a D-DC. I managed to say "Oh!" out of "Oh Sh!T!" before getting cored. Highlander-zilla won that round. --KAT.
