Ok, this build sounds a little underwhelming, but in puglandia it's awesome fun. I build one build each on my 4 EBJs and this was my "joke build" of sorts... but it turned out to be the best of them all so far, better than 2x gauss, 1xgauss+5mpl and 8x mpl builds. 3.67 k/d ratio, 1.4 w/l ratio. The burst dps is excellent up close, you don't need to worry about ghost heat (like 2x cUAC20 builds), and 5x SL is a nice scalpel to finish off with. If needed you can side-poke on both sides, which comes in handy. Anyways, just thought I had to share the build, lots of fun and surprisingly effective in the solo queue.
Heh, yeah, don't think I got the pleasure though... atleast it wasn't a high score vs only bad players. K/D on this build is now up to 4.71, guess reality have to catch up with it soon... too few games to really mean anything.
I like your build. I ran almost the same on one of my Mad Cats, it was pure fun. And no, it's not underwhelming at all! Will run something very close to yours
I run dual UAC5 a lot, and basically I'd be dropping my 5x ER Mediums to ER Smalls to double up on the dakka. Everything else is pretty similar. Will give this a try and see how it goes.
">EBJ-C</a> It's good to be asymmetrical! You have better corner peeking abilities and can lose the arm armor. This build can certainly be changed up by adding ammo and deleting heat sinks but I find it to be a fine balance for PUG brawling because I use the small lasers so much. The legs have little armor because I almost never get legged, your mileage may vary but keep in mind that asymmetrical builds rock this load-out much better.
