Intent here is to put as big of autocannons on as possible, with out heat penalty, or lack of secondary weapons. This beasty brings lots of big shell pain and lots of ammo.
Changed the build slightly. Dropped the LBX-20 in favor of MOAR large U/AC dakka. I just found the LBX to be underwhelming in game play unless you boat lots of LBX.
Very deadly build. I play mine with 5t ammo ac 20, and the uac10 into the arm. i use the prime pod to put the second Uac10 into the arm and i prefer to put my ammo into the arms rather than into the side torso, because of the ammo explosion risk. And i agree with you about the LB20. The dakka effects permits also to disturb your ennemy in 1 vs 1 and it permits you sometimes to gain 1 sec in order to adjust the final laser shoot
I still do not understand why people dont give it 5 stars. At mid range, you melt faces really fast.... If the target is too much static, in 2.5 sec you give it almost 2 alpha... not a lot survive to this. The trick is just to properly aim with the uac20
It is at a range disadvantage to a lot of other Dire Wolf builds. The thing is so slow it should really take advantage of longer ranged weapons. Not saying the build isn't effective, because it REALLY is. It's just limited to close-range brawls and cannot perform well at range. You might be stuck advancing at range or caught by a longer ranged mech. 4/5 seems fair, but I'll have to run the build for a while to evaluate whether the range disadvantage is real or not.
Definitely worth 4 star, but not 5 stars yet. If only I can rate in 4.5 stars. Not so much about the range problem, as that is expacted with this setup. The 2x UAC10 + UAC20 combo is lovely. Just not sure about the best ratio between different ammoDHS/ERML/TC co-axle AC all in the body version, allows better arm movement due to perks. TC2. TYPE2, with 2x ERLL, solving the range problem. Heat is not increased by much, really. No TC though. Add it if you really want.
This is also my best build , tweaked a little to include a 4 ERML battery in addition to the 2 ERLL's I know it's hotter and less efficient but you got an intimidating opening salvo (can core a mech in 2 secs if the stars are aligned properly) and after that you can continue with the AC's . Also can participate in LR duels and can tolerate better one arm out situations .
