After having played this mech, the first thing i noticed is it is PAINfully slow (come on, I've watch snails run circles around me) and I am impatient to be able to cause pain. So to fix that, bring a decent amount of lrms to start a fight from my spawning point and have the punch to finish a fight at the enemy base. I like to think I am able to help my team when the fight starts with the missles and be able to cause panic when i finally do show up to open up components with the Lg pulses and tear them off with my boomstick. Suggestion for wep setup 1. Lbx20 (I like to have my left click to fire whatever is on my left arm) 2. Lg Pulse (Chained) 3. LRMs 4. Alpha Lg Pulse
Welcome to mechspecs: Please change your topic name to: DWF-A "Brawlurm" (1x cLBX20, 1x cLRM20, 1x cLRM15, 3x cLPL, cAMS) Thanks! Thinking about this. May help you dodge the heat tax. Also TC2.
Having just got my first DWF, I've been running something kinda similar. It's a little more heat friendly so you can alpha more with the LPLs, and has longer range with the UAC10 with nearly the same brawling punch as the LB20X, and the L1 TC gives you a little extra crit power, range, and zoom. Given LRMs are the natural enemy of the DWF when in the wild (PUGging), I kept the AMS. If you don't keep the AMS, you might as well use the Prime Right Torso for the extra twist speed. Also, with the lower arm actuator, you get side to side arm movement, which can come in handy. Still feeling out how effective it is, but I've felt good using it.
