Why do you hate me? Well I despise the fact PGI snuck me a Victor that I payed real money for, that I can't put the iconic AC/20 on. It is what it is though, and I bought it, so I'm going to use it to master the Chassis. This is the config I'm running right now. It has two main weaknesses right now. First, no AMS. This is countered by it being pretty fast to get from cover to cover and to move to engage LRM boats. Second it only have 2 tons of Gauss ammo. This is mostly annoying as I have to keep reminding myself to only use a double PPC blase for feeling shots, or shots I'm not sure of hitting. Still the mech functions well, fits the current meta of alpha over sustained DPS and impact damage over beam damage. I was able to pull some solid games in with it. I'd still rather have my Highlander though if I wanted to run a gauss in the arm.
Right?!?!?!!? The Victor's Boomstick(tm) is ICONIC and the Dragon Slayer should have included it at the very least since it is part and parcel with the mech itself. I feel your pain. I know several people who bought one of these and then said "Ummm WTF".
Yeah. I even submitted a ticket on it. I had played it to much though so I am SOL. Whatever's you win some, you lose some. As for the build I forgot to best redeeming part. The torso energy hard points are very close to the ballsitic arm. This makes convergance very very easy. I find myself very easily headshotting mechs in this build.
