Dragon Slayer "Budget Slayer *Kind Of*" (1xPPC, 2xERLL, 2xAC5, 1xJJ, XL330)

My little take on the Dragon slayer, this build is working pretty well for me. Just need some heat discipline.
I like to run my AC/5's on chain fire. What yall think?

Also I did want to try a build with two srm 6 packs and just trim the larges down to mediums but with srm's behaving the way the are is it worth it?

 

Served along side this. Its like playing a run and gun shooter along side it. So much ownage!

Would it make sense to shave ~1/2 a ton of armor off of each leg in order to mount an additional JJ? The fewer JJs I have, the harder it is for me to dodge/soak incoming fire.

 

Shouldn't be a problem. I run with about 480 or so armor on the Slayer & haven't had too many major issues with weak spots. If you have trouble with heat, check out Vergere's "Autocannon 5" variant. It's basically this variant with 3 large lasers instead of 2 LL and a PPC. I run it with 3 jets and it works pretty well. Debating sacrificing another HS and some armor for a Beagle.
