Downloading 1080p from YouTube; how do you do it?

So we have a member who is making some videos that we would like to Show Case on MechSpecsTV but our Flashgot just won't allow us to download 1080p for some reason. The best we can get is 720p.

What do YOU use to snag 1080p off YouTube?

 

aTube Catcher, nifty little program. has a long list of formats and is quite good

Lol remember it needs to be able to snag 1080p. I can easily get 720 already.

Michael, atm it is not possible, because Youtube blocks Download of 1080p resolution! Just read the news:

you need to wait or settle for 720p.

 

Boooooooooooooooo.... I'm trying to transfer a video from one MechSpecs member to myself so that I can upload it on the MechSpecsTV channel without actually giving him the password for it. Guess his stuff will just have to be 720p :X

 

Can he not send you the original via Google Docs (now Google Drive I think...)

Its a gb in size most likely.

 

I believe Google Drive has a 10 Gb file size limit. Pretty sure it is enough

You both need a Gmail, then you can share with set privileges so the other person can then download the file.
