What the title says... I recently installed Tapatalk on another forum and thought "hmmmmmmmmmm, maybe....." So do you guys use it?
I'm only aware of it because I've seen posts where it spams "sent from my phone using tapatalk" or some such. That pretty much killed any interest I would have in it (don't make me a mobile advertisement just because I use your product). I've made a few posts here from my Galaxy S3 and while it obviously isn't as simple as doing it at my desktop I wouldn't say it was difficult.
I've made a few posts from my cheap HTC and the only problem I run into sometimes is that the font is randomly reaaaallly small or superhuge. but there's a zoom function for that.
I went out for food. On my phone now. And this thread is a good example of that. My post's text is huge but the others are small. Zoom works fine though.
I use taptalk to post on my racquet stringing and Tennis Warehouse forums. It works well enough for that, and haven't had any problems with it.
Doesn't sound like it is really a feature anyone would utilize. Everyone seems to have no problems using mobile browsers etc.
Ohh now I see what Soy is talking about... If you check a forum from your phone WITHOUT the Tapatalk app it has a little popup at the top that says "Do you wanna use Tapatalk" and then you hit the X and it disappears. I just installed this app over on ShipSpecs since a couple of the guys there like to use it and I had to do some testing over there to ensure it worked. It works but I can see how that popup might be annoying. I will look into ways to remove that. [size=10pt] UPDATE: I can disable the popup easily enough. I did it over on ShipSpecs and it functions correctly.
