Discussion Game: What is Crucial for good Builds !? (for Beginners)

    Well, I did not take that personally. Just suggesting that anyone thinking they will get to immerse in a Battlemech universe like a MMO is going to be disappointed. This is especially true for any newbies that are trying to build according to the good old tt limits and style rather than maxing out their mechs as powerful as it can be.

    Well, for me, we are using the technology according to the lore timeline as a basis. So we are using the setting of Battletech. If anything the lack of ground troops and aircraft would hint that this is afterall not a roleplaying game. I am really happy that I get to run around and kill stuff in a mech though. That applies to both MWO, and the old MechWarrior series.

    I would be happier if we are all forced to be mercs. That way we can at least try to justify the over-the-top maxed-out mechs we have. But as we know it, we are not.

    We put ammo in the head, which is basically a big no-no if we go with storyline. We have to character leveling so it does not matter. Then again, why stay alive if your mech is destroyed anyways. I mean, without a mech you get demoted to ignoreable pieces of lowlife as a ground troop. Time to delete account and try again? If we go according to BV/PV (or whatever it was called, I forgot) then your mech in the mechbay is probably not a good bang-for-bucks either.

    The idea is, MAX IT OUT! Build your mech as powerful as you can, then tweak it up more to make it even better!
