This is not a high alpha build, it works best when the mech is fully upgraded to elite level. I play it as a escort, a base defender or a Jack of all trades mech. It is not terribly powerful but it can strip armor and then pound away at exposed limbs. I have used this build frequently as a base defender on Therma, 1vs1 most lights die or choose to run away. Weapongroups 1, LLAS 2, LBX-10 3, MLAS 6, Semi-Alpha with all lasers.
Yeah, have this mech master'd for that speed tweek. The speed is key with such a build. A good build, but mostly for CQB.
I am surprised at the amount of damage I seem to do with it, then again, the weaponry is some of the best to deal with HSR. I have quite a few 400-600 dmg rounds with it.
I think this is quite a strong build, actually. This mech can definitely stand up well in a brawl and deal some pretty great supporting/closing damage. This the variant that I run. It's great for jumping up and ambushing snipers and air twisting to really spread out that damage. I initially started with the pure brawler build of 2xLB10Xs, 4xMLs (which is why I have the XL320). It just seemed to me that upgrading two MLs to LLs at the expense of an LB10X was the way to go. Definitely makes the mech much more flexible.
This mech is a beast! The lasers strip the armor and the LB10X gets the kills. Just had 4 kills last game with this setup. The mech works best after the enemy is softened up a bit long range. Just put the LL on a separate firing button to fight long-range before moving in for the mop-up kills.
