My CTF-3D, I dropped all ballistic weapons, dropped the XL and replaced it with an STD engine, and maxed out all armor except the legs. For this build, you should keep your distance and hang around with other long range snipers. You can also poptart with the 4 jump jets on the legs. Not really heat efficient, which is why I have 2 coolant flushes installed every match. (2 million C-Bills FTW) I added Endo Steel for more heatsinks and used Double Heatsinks.

Maybe putting the PPC at the body hardpoints is a better idea. That way you have more mobility with the LLas when needed.

do it right, and you have a better cooling rate.

Erm, how is that a better cooling rate? They both have 14 DHS. Being faster with a larger engine is good though.

For a better cooling rate, I'd drop 2 or even 3 JJs from the OP for more DHS. Switching the PPCs to the torso in place of the LLasers would probably be a good idea as well - higher mounts for sniping and all that...

This is very close to a build I mentioned recently I was working on obtaining footage for to showcase the build. Fun mech.

Well, recently I had other things on my plate. And I actually HAD a full, finished video for the build. But I didn't think it was up to standard, it was hasty. So I decided not to upload it and want to do a better version...

So, this week I'll try and get good footage and show what this sort of build can do and post my personal take on it, as long as I have time ofc.

internal Double heatsinks give a full 2x bonus inside the engine, while those outside only give 1.4 heat bonus.
