Edit: Current version Original build for reference: Been playing around with the 3D and came up with this. What can I say, I like weapons in pairs... Footnote on naming: CTFs look a little crustacean-like, and this has uneven claws like a crab.
Been tinkering with this build today because of the UAC5 buff. Currently running it like this: I dropped the symmetrical "claws" to mount both PPCs in the torso for better sniping, which means the left arm becomes a shield. Downgraded the engine for a couple of JJs to enable some jump-sniping and for better maneuverability. Ammo hasn't been an issue so far, but I'm thinking of dropping one of the JJs for another ton. Heat can be an issue but is manageable. So far, I've been having good results with this. Taking plenty of opportunity shots with the PPCs and pouring it on with the UAC5s when I have a clear shot or I'm up close. Edit: A couple of the better rounds from yesterday as proof of concept: http://i43.tinypic.com/9l93pl.jpg[/img]
This is a Canyon Network monster! I modified it a bit but that's just a matter of personal preference (- 1xJJ, -Armor, + 1DHS, +1Ammo): I run this with armlock by default and unlock it via shift-key when I need it (torso twist / close range). While poptarting the armlock ensures that your PPCs and UACs hit the same spot. Usually you can fire 2 rounds per UACs simultaneously with your PPCs and thank god the chance of jamming was reduced . Feels like a poptard 3.0. For me it is way more fun then it was with a Gauss....maybe because I'm in love with dakka, but mostly because the UACs also offer a better "brawling" oportunity especially when set to chainfire ( with or without macro)
Nice! I ended up dropping a JJ for more ammo as well. I haven't run it since the most recent PPC nerf, but dropping some armour for another DHS sounds like a good idea.
