I need a 3rd Cat to unlock elite so I came up with this. After not seeing anything similar I decided to post it. Please offer suggestions as you see fit. I installed 2 of 4 possible jump jets...this thing isn't a Jenner I just wanted to be able to pop up over the heads of friendlies or small ridges to expose my low slung guns. I did not want to go with the XL engine to mitigate some of the risk and also move a tiny portion of rear armor forward in order to beef up the frontal armor. I almost never get major leg damage since everyone seems to always aim for my torso or shoulders so I felt safe removing the vast bulk of the required armor reduction to there. Street fighter with the 2 shotguns but the additional 2 tons for regular 10s would have prevented me from keeping 1 of the 2 upgrades, AMS or JJs and since this cat can use em it seemed a shame to not use JJ especially to expose the lower slung arms and I am tired of getting LRM smeared. Obviously you could lose one or the other for an additional HS if required but for now I will just make sure to have fire discipline.
I think very few of us rarely use the exact spot for spot build that others post on here this is just the flavor I liked best...season to taste.

Well, there are similar builds out there: the Nasty Cat and Soy's Quickdraw, but yours is unique in that it uses a Std engine, which is not a terrible idea given that this is a brawler build.

The beauty of the XL builds is their speed. You're never going to match that with a Std, but I think you could go for a bigger engine than the 255. You could lose some of the following - 2 tons of ammo, a JJ, and/or the AMS - to upgrade the engine to at least a 280 (probably a 290 max if you lost them all). The similar builds I mention all run 4 tons of LBX ammo. Admittedly, they were built before 12 v 12, so that may not be enough these days.

Regarding armour: I'd be reluctant to drop much lower than you have now for this build, but you could tweak some out of the left arm (since that is your weak side) and beef up the leg armour a bit. If you're in a brawl and you're using your JJs to spread damage you'll take more hits to the legs. With all the ammo stored there, extra armour could be handy.

    For example:
