ALWAYS ALWAYS take ES before FF, NO EXCEPTIONS!
In your case this gives you 1.6~ tons more to play with, which means eiher a bit more engin power, a bit more ammo, or just beef up the armor a bit more.

 

This is actually still a solid build as long as you remember to chain fire your SRM6 in pairs. More than 2 firing at once means ghost heat.

Here's the variant I used:



Slightly slower, more jump, more ammo, more pew-pew, less range. I call it the "Puma" because it has to stalk, wait, then pounce to get its prey. Tears down an Atlas in short order if you can leg hump it.

 

Have been playing the 300xl 3jj version. Still plays pretty competitive against clans and its heaps of fun.

 

The new quirks on this are insane, reminds me of the old days of IS mechs with 20% weapon quirks!
Range +10%
Missile Cooldown +20%
Missile Heatgen -10%
Energy Cooldown +20%
Energy Duration -10%
and a smattering of structure thrown in.
