Well, you can drop a DHS for another ton of ammo and a BAP, which will let you use your streaks on shut down mechs and imporve you lock times. For the other ton? if you don't mind losing the range, go with a Mlas/LPL array. http://mwo.smurfy-net.de/mechlab#i=12&l=30b66999f27883734bb24add4513ae9848b33578
Based on everything I've seen in here I'm gonna try this one out... http://mwo.smurfy-net.de/mechlab#i=12&l=d050b93c9fcfaba71a67ab790aa9ec8171b3024f
I have always been interested in, but dubious about Catapults. After mastering Hunchbacks, Stalkers, Atlas, Jagermechs and Ravens I decided to take the plunge and invested in scrom's variant above. All I can say is thank you. This is an expensive, but excessively epic mech. I am in love and have no regrets.
Great build. I also use this variant to spice up my 2ML,2LL,2SSRM/2SRM6 build variants. This build is that it is good example of long range sustained damage build. Issue is that with the last 2 months changes, the game is moving towards more alpha fast damage builds.
Im not sure why I havent tried this build out yet! There is enough room in this build to customize for your personal tastes on Artemis, JJ, BAP, AMS, more DHS, SRM 2-6 or Streak 2. I love Catapults! http://mwo.smurfy-net.de/mechlab#i=12&l=bc82bc14a802ad953e010216c10d132b83c33fef
Love this build. Been using it for several months now (before finding mechspecs.com). Very good KDR with it. The idea with Streaks seems worth looking into...
