I've been playing around with this build for a while and I'm pretty satisfied with it for right now. It's really built for my play style, I have awful aim, hence, the streaks, and I have the tendency to always find the one mech with ECM. That's where the SRM6's come in.

    Playstyle:
The plan is to use this as a second-line mech. Tearing up he poor mech who opts to give you his back as he chases down another mech.

This also works very well at taking out light mechs. Using the insane CPLT torso twist can almost always assure a streak lock while in full spin, not leaving you completely helpless.

The SRM6 are for those situations when you either have a mech dead to rights from behind or when caught in an ECM, unable to gain streak lock. The Artemis is there so you can make every shot count.

    Moving Forward:

I'm wondering if maybe ditching the CASE, putting the ammo in the legs (albeit only 2 tons now) going DHS and adding more armor to make this a true brawler, also, pulling the ammo from the torsos would make an XL Engine more feasible.

My religion forbids streaks and I disapprove this build.

But here are my 2 cents: you're too slow and not mobile enough. My 6*SRM6 splatcat runs at 80km/h and has JJ, you should be able to do the same with all the free tonnage given by the streaks.

    Two possible upgrades:

    - DHS: if you upgrade to DHS to have the same heat efficiency with the engine heat-sinks alone => you gain 9 tons, enough for an engine upgrade to 315STD (the biggest you can mount). Or, better imho, 300STD and jump-jets.

    - XL engine: since you installed CASE i guess you want to stay alive with your side torso destroyed. But personally I don't think XL engines are a problem on a cat, most of the time i die from center torso, and if it comes from side torso I'm almost dead on CT anyway, thank to good damage repartition on this mech.

(On the other hand, no DHS and no XL make your build pretty cheap, thus affordable for new players)

I'm really curious about a religion that forbids the use of Streaks but doesn't stone it followers for using Splat Cats!! LOL

    Anyway I agree....needs more speed.

    Myth.

Ahah, our prophet praise for holy aiming and holy leading-your-target, but abhors the evil brainlessly-fire-and-forget-your-100%acc-missiles.
But it's not the time and place for a highly sophisticated and refined theological discussion, lets discuss Red_Febtober's mech the way he wants it to be.

My 2c would be drop the endo, bump it up to a 300XL, add JJ's, add BAP, and use DHS FFS!

    Something like this.

Your build still has Endo? Why drop it? :p

    *cough*

    CPLT-A1

With enough speed/skill you don't necessarily need a AMS. I can imagine when its elite it's nasty!!

Looks like this is the only thing to survive the grouping of SRM6, SRM4 since you can run 2x SRM6 (no heat penalty) and 4x SSRM2 (no heat penalty).

OP build should be updated. Because as it is, it is very poor. Low Armor on CT, Stock Engine, low Ammo, no JJ, no DHS.. looks like a poor man's build.

    Here my version:
