Its highly recommended to use chainfire for the laser and to avoid alphastrikes. With this two simply rules and a little bit heatmanagement you can melt away every mech on every distance. Cheers! PS: Excuse my bad english
I have the strong impression that this is a bad build.. way too hot and too slow and those Legs - OMG! Even Mediums will rape this Boar. Either drop two ERLLas for some lighter MLas and make it faster, or combine the Quad.LLas with a cool LBX, though it's still too hot. All these Alphabuilds these days
I'm sorry to say i don't belive in this build. ERLLas are good but need more than 15 DHS, so what s the point to use short weapon instead of more DHS ? Being able to fight every range is not the job of a 100 ton mech in my mind. With lrm and AC5 this will be a better build maybe.
Wow, 30 tonnes is a little low in the legs, especially when you're keeping ammo in there! Granted most people do aim for ballistic torso of an atlas anyways, so perhaps it would work...
