BLR-1S The Beast (4x SRM6+A, 2x LLas, 2x MLas, AMS, STD300)

I was having trouble with the slow speed. I am used to much faster mechs but I am reworking my S back into this configuration for another go. Thanks for the build and the offer. I will report back after a couple runs.

Can't build this 'Mech.

Lack one critical-slot.
Even if I strip the mech in smurfy's and rebuild it from scratch, I still lack 1 critical.

Anything they've done to the chassis lately preventing this build?

 

@Lavandel Probably the upgrade to ArtemisIV.

 

So the ArtemisIV takes up one extra criticalslot nowadays?

Well after release.

 

I actually found out when I tried to build it in-game.

Didn't work so I did some experimenting in Smurfy's and came to the same conclusion.

Too bad.

What I've got is this instead:
Annoying that I lack half a ton.

 

Just tried this line of thinking out this weekend for a CW drop.

I used a massive XL (XL360) for over 75kph after tweak, 600 rounds of SRM ammo in 4x SRM6+A and 3x LLas.

I'd use the LLas to poke from range (hooray for the Ghost Heat nerf) then open up with ONLY the SRM's at close range, chain-firing the LLas on open components.

Only did one drop in her, but, racked up 5 kills and 900 damage. Not bad for an XL Assault!
