*EDIT* Downgraded the LRM15 to an LRM10 because of the firing tubes. This is something I was playing around with after it seemed like my Battlemaster was always showing up late to a fight, even with a 340 engine. So the idea behind this is to present some direct fire support. It's meant to stay with the group and wait for your teammates to engage the enemy before joining in. The AC/2s offer some ranged harassment (plus I just like them, even on an assault mech) and the LRM 15 lets you do damage at mid-long range. The LRMS are not meant to be dumbfired but work in tandem with the ac/2's. I've found that the advantage to this mech is that even when your ammo runs low/out you've only done half your job. Because you've been hanging back, your armor should be fresh while your opponents are damaged. Move in with the 6 MLAS and help mop up. Unless you start going crazy with the MLAS heat is pretty manageable and you feel like no matter what the range or map you're able to contribute.
