For some reason, regardless of which pattern I add them, I cannot get my ERLLas to be at the very top of the shoulders on both sides if each torso has 2x MLas and 1x ERLLas. Mechlab would force the ERLLas to be on one of the two lower points, putting a MLas in the top hardpoint. This aggravated me so I decided to FORCE Mechlab to put an ERLLas in that top hardpoint! anyways, here it is. Fire1: Chain of all ERLLas Fire2: all MLas Fire3: 2 Lower ERLLas Fire4: 1 Upper located ERLLas Fire5: Chain of all MLas
Interesting build, though I should note that you have 15 slots free, so you can equip Endo and max your armor.
I feel really dirty in this build... similar to the old MW4 days in a Nova Cat hugging the hilltops... The height of the mech + 6 high mounted energy weapons give this mech a lot of options to sneak in alphas with very little retribution.
It's a seriously cool hot idea. 3 LLas is a force to be reckoned with. Since I don't have an XL400 (and am unlikely to either purchase the Boar's Head or earn the 6.5 million cbills to get one), I'm looking for a way to make this work with an STD. So far, I'm thinking this might work... You could trade AMS for a DHS and some armor for slightly better cooling. However, the idea is that the LBX makes it so that you'd never fire the LLases and MLases at the same time. However, this build captures the spirit of your build much better.
My take on it as i will also not be getting an XL400: Or, since I'll like want to close in and be a sponge in a lot of games: The crit potential of MGs sounds delicious with so many lasers.
