I am playing with 380XL engine from La Machine in my BLR to see what it can do. Its fast, heavy and hot just like La Machine but it should dance a little better.
Ok so this is my first time trying to optimize a build from scratch and I made a few mistakes (like forgetting the heatsink slots on the engine). I think I fixed everything, taking it out for a spin tonight.
Looks like fun. You could equip endo steel and keep MPLS while adding DHS: Though it would likely be better if you didn't go for 5xMPLs as support for the LPLs. they're devastating with the small burntime but having so many is just going to overheat you. You can ignore putting one on the arm and mount an extra heat sink for decent efficiency and still a scary alpha, or exchange them for regular mediums, don't equip endo steel and fill everything up with DHS (which is what I basically run. 2xPPC (same weight as 2xLPL), 5xML, 2xMG). Examples: I'm not sure what to do with the tonnage of the first build, so I got an XL385 there. You can probably unequip and try to spend 1.5 tons elsewhere.
