First ever build, so please be gentle I like to have a reasonable difference between mech builds and for the BLR's, I am having great fun and success with MadKobold's BLR-1D 'Durka Durka Mohammed Jihad' (2x AC2, 1x UAC5, 2x LLas, XL350) and Verbosity's BLR-1S Lurmageddon (2x LRM15+A, 2x LRM10+A, 3x MLas, 1x TAG, XL300) So I came up with this build as a "hit and run" playstyle. Initially I wanted to use pulse's to minimise time on target and use the XL400 to max speed and torso twist, but weight & heat were issues. I also love some dakka so found it hard to just build a las-boat. Maybe not a huge alpha, but it's as fast and agile as a BLR can be and with 48% cooling you should be able to fire for a loooong time... Could swap out 2DHS for AMS or 2 more MLas, but the latter drops cooling to 38% iirc? Would appreciate any thoughts and feedback before I spend 6million C-Bills on the engine to build this Cheers,
This would work better in the 1D. more For the MG's, and better use for the hardpoints, and it turns 10 degrees better in each direction from the torso. and I think I am currently running this build, but with a few other mods. This would be my quickie version.
Thanks for the feedback Vergere, I know what you mean. Trouble is that I really like the 1D build I have at the moment. I'm really not a great pilot and I broke the 1k damage milestone for the first time ever last night with it (previous highest was late 700's). It's the 1G I am really struggling with. I tried the 2xAC5, LLas & 3/4MLas build listed here but can't get on with it. It also plays very similar to the 1D build, which is why I was trying to come up with something different. Hmm, Indoorsman has posted a 2xAC2 + 6xMLas build and, OMG, think I may have to try that after watching his video's!! this is the build: All credit goes to Indoorsman obviously!!
