    I dont have a XL340 or XL350 right now (using a 375XL from my AWS-9M). And I like 3 macroed AC2s (160-170ms dakka....feels like an AK47) just for trolling and "stuning" enemies. But the Durka-build is on my checklist ;)

    If you want to shave 2 MLas, by all means, resort to your 1D.

    First of all hello to everyone

    second I like to thank author of this build for showing me right direction, I have same problem when I was running 6 ML version. When I saw success of 4ML version. I was thinking how to improve it. my conclusion is simple. Assault mech have to be tough. so I swap ppc with ER LL cause I found it better in chasing lights with beem, and endo for upgraded armor, it rly feels tough as hell. what you think?

    I made two mods in the spirit of "because alpha", which add a srm6. One sacrifices quite a bit of leg and left arm armor, 1 DHS, and 1 ton of AC/5 ammo. The other swaps out the engine to a 350XL and has 2 tons of srm ammo at the cost of some armor and a DHS.




    This bumps the alpha damage up to 62 with 40 heat. It also bumps the sustained DPS up a bit.

    Pure theorycraft, but it may add that extra bit killing power to those who find themselves fighting short-mid range a lot.

    I'm not a huge fan of only having one SRM6 purely because of convergence, but if you can handle it then you should go for it. It definitely helps.

    I'm having a pretty decent run with this build as my next step from the Brokemaster. Is the xl frowned upon here or am I just having a good run lately? It runs hot as hell but I cycle well and alpha only when I have to.

    m1 3 ml (left)
    m2 3 ml (right)
    m3 ppc
    1 cycle ac5's
    2 both ac5's
    3 cycle meds left
    4 cycle meds right


    ...works for me.

    Anyway, Ferro gives you less tons/crit than Endo. You can upgrade your weapons and protect yourself from an inconvenient ammo explosion this way.

    Still, the build doesn't take advantage of the 1D's extra ballistic slot, so there's probably more you could do with it.

    The MLAS is great post quirk, the PPC only benefits from general energy quirks and could be swapped from a quirk perspective. The AC5's have no quirks at all but are great (and icy cool) weapons.

    So, this is still a great build but not optimized from quirk perspective no. The best? Not sure, haven't looked at the 1G for a while. See if I can find the time tonight maybe.

    Am I insane or does this smurfy build have 1 extra slot? I tried to install it exactly as shown multiple times but I cannot fit in the 1 ton of AMS ammo...

    EDIT: Tried removing 1 ton of ammo in the smurfy window, and still read as 0 slots available. Must have been bugged, or some type of slot change in a patch or something. I was stressing out for a while in the in-game mechlab, lol, trying to figure out where I added an extra slot...

    The Battlemasters were changed to have one additional actuator some patches after their release if I remember this right.
