I have buccaneer, phranken and tartan on this chassis. I like phranken most on the Awesome. Have it on the 8V. Buccaneer suits best to my Missile Boat 8R.

Edit: After the video i updated the build by repositioning the LLas to the higher right-shoulder hardpoints for better ridge-sniping and it works like charm!

 

well, i heartily recommend you turning the Thunderbolt into a Super Laserbolt! 2xLLas + 5xMLas rox all the way

we lost 5 teammates in the Center very early, so theoretically we should have lost with 12 vs 7. But then we counterstriked and i nuked them all away whenever they tried coming up the ramp. Always Alphastrike, wait for cooling down, and again and again... whenever you hunt someone, then chainfire the MLas (@20DHS low Heatproduction) and the score climbs high fast as lightning

Hehe, you don't like the Orion? I find them better now with the last hitbox update. In the upcoming vid i lost a Gauss Rifle while running an XL Engine and i didn't die to my surprise. lol

 

Nah, not really. Actually it gives me the feeling of an assault mech, fat and slow.
There is this build I kinda enjoy, but I think I sold the other variants (and this one is one of the first I'll sell if I need mechbays).

 

Only if you run it with the STD300. I run mine with XL350 and it's actually faster than the Assaults. The only problem is the big CT, but on the other hand XL is not too troublesome as you can see in my video, which i'm finally uploading now. Should be ready in 1h

 

Yep, I have an XL on the build I linked 'the mobility is the reason why I like it over the other ON1 builds I tested).
But the hitbox is not XL friendly, even after the changes, it's only viable for long range builds.
