(Sorry for the edits) Had to re-learn how to do the code part. Works now. 5.6 Heat for every 11 damage. This means 17 heat for 33 damage. Roughly 20 heat for an alpha. I started with a LPL in the right torso (right side because most rotations on the maps go right, peek with the right side). But then I put it in the arm so I wouldn't peek so high and because I rarely lost my arms. Quirks so you don't have to cross reference: Large Pulse Heat Generation -10% Energy Weapon Heat Generation -10% Large Pulse Range +10% Energy Weapon Range +10% Medium Laser Duration -10% Laser Weapon Range -10% Energy Weapon Cooldown +12.5% Torso Yaw Speed +25% I have 495 meter range with the pulses with range quirks and range mod. Seriously going for the pulse recycle time is a good option! It works on terra therma, just don't alpha it on terma/cauldera of caustic. Standing still on forest colony snow, I can alpha constantly into the atlas and shut down as the atlas dies from CT. This is the "Novacat" for today. If you guys remember MW4 days. Seriously the pulses last from the point you see them as you crest the hill and end about as you hit full reverse to pull back. Almost like AC sniping but without big bulbs of "I hit the hill in front of you" shots. Useful out to 700m IMO. I run Targ.Dep. and Adv.Zoom. Even if it gets nerfed a bit, I will still use it. It runs so cool I got the bad habit of alpha shooting every chance I get so it is a definite buy even if it's nerfed. If you can stand going higher and firing from the torso you can scratch armor off one arm, lasers in torsi and one arm for another heat sink. If the arms get blown off with my build preference (if it becomes a thing) it still has high torso laser hardpoints so it's still an investment return. Yes I have exchanged with lasercrows with good success, they win in the open and I win if I get to peek against them. Only the 4xERMed+Gauss crow has beaten me at the peeking game. They are rare to my knowledge. The best part is that the fragile glass cannon can use the toughest armor in the game (terrain) and it feels rewarding to do so. Less frustrating when you get caught in the open and can't fault the mech for your own failing strategies. Knowing it's a keeper! But then I got into a fight with a dakka wolf that I spread the damage around and he shut down in front of me. If my one shot didn't hit the side torso to strip him of some weapons went to the center instead he never would've woken his mech up. So take from my example, always aim to kill with shutdowns! This mech is now a snipe-worthy kind. As fragile as it is, it has to be. Though I am guilty of 4LL+XL195+14DHS on another BJ of mine.
4/5, A guy in my unit calls this the "Wubbajack" in honor of the delightdelightfully hilarious Sheogorath of the Elder Scrolls...good times.
