This mech provides a sick amount of long range fire support. Shoot them from afar with your ER Larges and try to ruin their day by blinding them with Ultra AC/5 fire! This even provides great punch at brawler range. What more could somebody want in life?
Some protection from lights, maybe? BTW, more than month passed away, I wonder if you still like this build. It's interesting to try but those Ferro-Fibrous upgrade and potentially downgrade to Standard Armor are not free.
I guess this build could totally use an update and some press! I've been having a good deal of success with it, as you can see from the attached screen shot. I feel like my kill rate has increased with this compared to my previous build. It does tend to run a bit hot, though, so I'll include a note about my firing solutions: You can alpha this a decent amount of times before heat starts to become an issue. Once it gets a bit toasty, I stick to the UAC/5. When that jams, I throw my right-handed laser instead. Honestly, I'm surprised the build works as well as it does. Definitely don't join the front lines with this thing, though! You are a heavy weapons support platform so make sure you exploit the great range of your weapons!
