The temperature is mostly dependent on the distance to the system's star when there is no atmosphere to speak of. The HPG compound might be further away from the star of the solar system it is in or the star type might be cooler than our sun.

Way to many uncertainties. We need more info from the devs for immersion into the game, dammit .

 

Saw a couple of them in the group queue and they seemed to perform quite well. Tanked a lot. Honestly not seen enough of them to get an opinion yet.

 

Yeah, you're right. I always assumed that HPG was far away in space, like a pirates moon location. But that wouldn't make any sense either, since its an HPG and most likely close to a major habitable planet.
