I have scored a few 1000+ rounds in my Banshee 3E but this one was 1412. The key factor appears to be shooting at other "tanky" mechs. In my case I blew both torsos off a Centurion (no kill), then cored out an Awesome. Later in the match I took out both torsos of the Stalker, and had a couple of shots at the Thunderbolt and the GridIron. I have to say that the 3E is my go to mech for just pure fun and success. *EDIT* I forgot to include the build 3x AC5, 3x LL, AMS, STD 300, LL cooldown and range, AC5 cooldown.
So I got my very first 1k dmg match in all mwo history (mine at least ) just some minutes ago with a 3M! With the "Shee Wubs Wonder" build (3 LPL, 5ML, STD300, 21 DH), barely halfway through basics (was my 4th match in this variant) and didn't use any consumables (haven't even unlocked the skills yet) - just up close and personal. Sadly it was a Loss, but hey, I even got points for scouting! P.S. I'm naturally more of a medium guy (in mechs I pilot and matchstats I achieve) and the Banshee is my only assault chassis. I still have so much to learn in piloting assaults, its a shame, but this match was a blast for me. So maybe you get why I'm so excited about it
Flippin 9 KMDD?!?!? Did your team even exist?! And you only shot 9 targets. Ergo you got KMDD on every 'Mech you shot.
Not 1600, but it was a quick match. I'll probably upload the recording eventually, when I'm less lazy than I feel right now. (3xLPL, 5xMPL, LE360)
Both the enemy and my team were mostly passive and conservative, so I had all the time in the world to poke slightly over my optimal range... I even managed to run out of ammo. A big thanks to the kit fox pilot with 3xAMS.
I'm not sure I've actually killed him with a Headshot, though... He was probably already beaten on the CT and I don't think I've aimed correctly: it's a very small spot.
Half-skilled (41/91) BNC-SR "3-Timer", completely ran out of ammunition. TBH this thread should have just been closed after Carlo's post though.
