Now that I'm all caught up on my test driving I figured I'd get my stable back up to speed. Being an assault mech lover it only seemed right to start there. Once I decided to get a second Awesome again it was a no brainer which way to go. I was always in love with the traditional PPC Awesome so I decided I would do whatever I could to make it very viable. I kind of like this build. Runs pretty cool for something with that much zapping going on. Its pretty fast with out an XL. It also is able to threaten solid damage at all ranges. I have my weapons grouped like this: 1: Torso PPC's, fired together for good convergance 2: Arm ERPPC. Fired just after the torso ones for no heat penalty, and for light popping 3: MPLs 4: AMS!!! Woot! Load out is running like a charm for me, and makes me feel all warm and fuzzy for staying close to the traditional mechs load out.
You barely have any armor to your shield arm, and if you lose those 2DHS there, they your heat cooling goes to %32. I would armor this thing to the max, Mostly because you have no AMS. 3-5 for a good idea, but it does need improvement. BTW, I have run this, and extra armor is quite useful.
How's this? Only lost 1% in cooling efficiency. Close range DPS looses 3 points roughly, but the long range hit is still there. Adds max armor and an AMS. I'm wasting 0.06 tonnage, but thats a minimal number. No open crit spot.
